Came home to find computer off. It was left in sleep mode. The moniter keeps saying there is no signal and the keyboard has no power.

If its truely in sleep mode, and won't come out of sleep mode. Unplug the computer from its power, hold the power button down for 5-15 sec, then wait 2-5 full minutes. Then plug it back in, and turn it on.
If that doesn't work it is NOT stuck in sleep mode. Most dell computers I've worked with the caps go out in the power supply and/or the motherboard. I would next clean out the computer with canned air, check the caps on the motherboard, and in the power supply. If there are any bad caps, replace them, and it should fix it. Hopefully though the above paragraph fixes your problem.

I have a hp pavilion a1410n desktop with visat , i left it in sleep mode and now it wont turn on and the light on the back is flashing whats wrong with it?

When you say sleep mode, you mean the LED behind your power button is on? There may be some other way to tell it's asleep, but, saying the obvious, did you push the power button? This usually takes us out of sleep and brings us to login. If you have done this, you may have something serious. Take the skin off the PC and lay it down so you can see the motherboard. with all connections on, turn on the unit and see if any fans work. Write me back after this has been done and we'll continue.
