Re: initial printer set up

Kingsley, Make sure you have removed all the packaging from the machine. Check inside the the cover etc. Uninstall the printer and Unplug the printer from the computer and from the electrical socket. Wait a few minutes plug in the printer don't hook the printer to the computer yet. Printer should let you install the cartridges. Download the latest driver package from HP and re-install the software and it will teel you when to hookup the printer. Good Luck, Tim

Samsung scx-4521f "paer jam 2"_ i've checked paper inside but i can't see any thing is jammed. if i turn off and on that time 1 paper will be printer ofter one same problem is repete. any advice sir

I think you should take all unused papers out, close tray and predd print button. If there is paper in the system, it may come out. A red light may also flash asking you to load papers. Now lod the papers and the red light will go off. Put a printed paper and try copying. If it copies, you are ok. Now print from your cpmputer command. If it prints you are ok. If it does not and you get paper jam warning, there may be a small piece of paper stuck in the system. You have to open each feeder and see if you find anything. Good luck.

When I turn on my Canon i560 printer the light blinks orange and green and will not print anything. I've tried to turn it off and on, unplug it and nothing seems to be working. What can I do to fix it?

try this. It is the reset for the waste ink error (8 flashes)

1) With the printer power OFF, while pressing the Resume button, press the Power button. (Do not release the
power button.)
2) While pressing the Power button, release the Resume button, press the Resume button again twice, and then
release the Resume button and Power button.
3) The green indicator flashes during initialization.
When the indicator stops flashing and remains on, press the Resume button 4 times to clear waste ink message.
(The indicator toggles between orange and green each time the Resume button is pressed.)
4) Next, press the Power button, and the green indicator will light, and the function will be executed.
5) Turn off the printer then back on and error should clear.

HL-5140 model. the paper light is flashing and

Hi Patricia,

Try to do a factory reset on the server.

Whilst the printer is turned off, press and hold the GO button as you plug the printer on to the socket. Notice that all lights on the printer will turn on as well. Continue pressing the go button until the light for the toner goes up and once its up, release the button. Next, hold down the Go button again until the "Yellow Status" light turns on once on, release the Go button. Wait for the printer to initialize and see if the error went away.

Hope this helps.

When power is applied to the all-in-one for the first time, the power light is solid and the check paper, check print cartridge, black copy, and color copy lights flash, the display will be blank, and the all-in-one will not respond.
