Showing error 047-212

That is an OCT2 error, exit error. If it happens every time or right when you turn on the machine it's either a defective exit sensor or exit pwb. The error itself indicates that the paper is late to get to that sensor so could also be from the registration section below, possibly a registration clutch slipping. Look at the print on the page and see if it's centered correctly.

There's a paper jam while the paper is trying to exit the printer. The definition of the error is saying that the leading edge of the paper has reached the exit sensor, but the other end of the paper hasn't yet. Because it's jammed...

It could just be a regular paper jam that needs to be cleared, or it could be a faulty exit sensor or a faulty registration roller, or registration sensor. I'd try clearing the jam thoroughly, and then try printing again. If it's a recurring error then you may need to call someone to replace a faulty part...

Paper jam 40

Its a misfeed in the fusing section. The paper didn't get to the exit sensor after the registration roller by the drum was activated. Check the fuser and drum areas. It can be caused by a dirty exit sensor, registration rollers not having pressure, a bad fuser roller or drive gear, or the exit rollers not making good contact.

CANNON PC745 SAYS PAPER JAM. NO PAPER JAMMED.

The problem is normally on the exit sensor. Please check the exit sensor if its in the right possition. If the exit sensor is in the right position, also check the registration sensor if its sitting in the right position.Normally the problem is that the sensors (either the 'exit ' or 'registration' sensors) will be not in their correct position. If the two sensors are ok,there should be a small paper lleft in the machine

I am not sure if this is the same model as my phone, but I pressed the exit button and then pressed the select button. The display says something like, hold Base Page button, so do that, then the phone will beep, let you type in a handset name, and you are set to go.
