Question about Olympus FE-140 Digital Camera

Picture Error I took some pictures last week and when I went to look at them, it gave ma a "picture error". The picture is there when I download but when I try to open it, that is when I get a "drawing failed" or "picture error". Is there a way I can salvage those pictures? Thanks

Re: Picture Error

It is a possiblity that the batteries were weak and caused the camera to shut off while saving the picture. Try using a card reader to load the picture into your rcomputer. I have run into this before and sometimes there is nothing that can be done to save teh picture.

I need to find the photos as it is the last 4 weeks of our 7 week old baby!!!! At the moment looking like we will only have the first 3 weeks as my Panasonic Lumix DMC-TZ2 has had an error when i connected...

Try some photo recovery software to rescue the files on your digital memory card, here are some for your options.

Photo Recovery (for Windows)
Photo Recovery for Mac

Be careful: Before your pictures are recovered, do not attempt to save more files to the card in case the original files(your pictures) are overwritten.

Error message for olympus camedia digital camera D-560 Zoom

When I transferred those particular pictures to my laptop for some reason they were partially deleted from the camera which gave the 'picture error' message. Deleting that picture completely got rid of the message.

Taking black pictures

This sounds like it might be a defective CCD imager. If so, Canon should fix this for you for free, including free shipping both ways. This is regardless of your camera's warranty status. Please check the following two links for more info:

Applicable cameras include:
A40, A60, A70, A75, A80, A85, A95, A300, A310, S1 IS, S60, S200, S230, S330, S400, S410, S500, SD100, SD110, IXUS V2/300/400/430/500, IXY Digital 200a/300a/400/450/500

By the way, stop banging on it. That's a last resort fix for a lens error :-)

Kodak md853

hi! my sister-in-law gave me a MD853 camera last week from Canada. I used it over the weekend when we went on a trip and the pictures and videos i took were great. Last night, my daughter took a picture of me and when she took a picture of her brother, there was only white on the a moving white sheet with colored edges. I thought she destroyed it or something. I tried to use it but now the screen is all black...last night only the video worked but this morning everything is black. The other programs in the camera works so i suspect the problem must be in the lens. I'm in the Philippines and if I send it back to Canada for repairs it would just take a long time and it will be expensive to send it back. What can I do? I really love this camera... help!!!

DSC-W35 file error

It sounds like the memory stick would be full why not format it and limit your number of pictures to its capacity.  Download pictures to your PC to have more space.

File error

I have seen this problem with generic SD memory cards so it could be a faulty memory stick.  Try to get a replacement.  If you want to try to recover the pictures you have taken, I suggest Zero Assumption Recovery (Google for it). Check to see if it is compatible with your camera before downloading.

Picture Error

Hi, It is possible that the memory of your camera got corrupted. You can try and format the memory and see if it will clear any errors and make the memory (card) available for use of the camera. Should you want to try and recover any images stored in the memory card, it has to be a removable one that you can plug in to a card reader attached to a PC. Run data recovery software to hopefully recover whatever you can from the memory. You can also format the memory with your PC and use a disk checking utility to check for any other errors. Thereafter, if things are ok, it will be ready for use of the camera. Hope this be of some use to you. Post back how things went or should you need additional information. Good luck and kind regards.
