Question about Computers & Internet

1 Answer

I was on my Dell Inspiron 1525 and It was low on charge and when I took it off the power went out. When I turned it on again I chose Start Windows Normally out of a list of options. So it started up the Microsoft loading bar and then the mouse appears and then nothing happens. The mouse just stays there for a while and then it goes back to the Dell Startup loading bar and repeats the process. I have Windows Vista

I have a Dell Inspiron 1525 and had the same exact problem. I finally called Dell and they sent a tech out. They replaced my power cord and all the software. The reason for this is because Dell Inspirons has a default in the AC cords. Sounds like the AC power cord is the problem. You could find someone who has this cord and test your Inspiron with it or try calling Dell! It worked for me.

Dell inspiron 1525 won't charge

The battery has most likely been "Over charged". Most rechargeable batteries can only be charged around 500-1000 times depending on the brand of your computer. I would recommend buying a new one.
