My projector has a white flashing line on the left side of the screen

you can try cleaning the connection from the main board to the back of the lens assy, if that doesn't work you will likely need a new main board or a dmd board for the lens assy.

How to check lamp hours on xf-45 or xf-35?

On the XF-45, you push the "UP" button and then the "Menu" button and hold both of them for approximately 20 seconds. After that you will see a bunch of numbers in the top left hand corner of the screen. Using the Left and Right arrow keys, move the "Group" number until it reads 111. Then using the Up and Down arrow keys to scroll through each lamp (0-3).

If you move the "Group" number to 110, you can see total number of hours that socket has run.

Projector automatically shuts off immediately after turning it on

If your comfortable w/surface mount troubleshooting and soldering, download the service manual from elsewhere online. Part of the troubleshooting tree for this type of problem is to check the surface mount fuses on the underside on the Main PWB (schematic page 1/8). On mine, the 12V surface mount fuse, F3004 (2.3A) was open (quadrant C1 on the schematic). Replaced it, reassembled the projector (3 interlocks don't 'cha know) and it came up just fine.
