OK those are the correct fuses one in middle does cause lost of convergence FL231,recheck second ribbon connector, make sure it is in correctly also ck cp 150 it will be a green and gold writing on capacitor 2200uf 16v ,see if it is bubbled on top if so replace it and 2 other caps 220uf 35v,what you are saying about it waving could be a big capacitor on small AC board where ac fuse and cord plugs into ck them .Let me know if you need more help . Resolder all connection pinns on flyback.

I see a possible fix for missing convergence on a rca hd52w59 by replacing the convergence fuse. I've looked all over and can't find it. If it really has this fuse, where is it??? Thanks

If your looking in the rear of the set on the far left side you will see a large black HV transformer that has a large red wire coming from its top. Thats the flyback transformer look directly to the right of that and you will see three small brown rectangles with FL221, FL231 and FL251 stamped on it. The center one is FL231 if thats blown the set will have a 3D look and the auto convergence feature will no longer be listed under the setup menu.

Rca convergence ic's

RCA projection televisions usually utilize descrete component to achieve convergence. The most likely candidate for this problem is a small fuse that is open on the back of the deflection board. This is usually caused by a cracked soder joint. Either at one of the pins of the IHVT or the rectifier connected to it. Re-soder all of the points on the fly-back transformer and replace the fuse. This should correct your problem.

My convergence keep going out, I replaced the convergence twice. I have a rca hd52w59 modle

When you say replaced the convergence twice, are you refering to the convergence boards or the FL231 fuse? If its the FL231 fuse unless you replaced the DL231 and CL230 plus reflowed the solder on the flyback it will continue to keep blowing untill the 3 parts are replaced together and the flyback gets resoldered. If you replaced the convergence boards then try resoldering the flyback.

you have a fusible link that has blown. This is what causes the convergence option no be erased from the menu. You will need to locate the blown link and replace it. They are identified by FLpreceeding the location number on the circuit board such FL221 and etc.
