I have same treo 755 problem, did you get it fixed?
Hey, i have the same problem where it loops between the PALM circle screen and the ACCESS screen.. i need help, did you get yours fixed? please email me asap.. thanks!!!
Something to consider.... first of all, mine does the same loop (access powered, palm then shuts off and restarts loop again). I have an extra 755p that doesn't get a signal but otherwise has all non phone/internet options. Since I was trying to rule out possiblities, I hooked my extra 755p to the hotsync info from my looping 755p and it started looping the same way. I was able to hard reset the extra 755p. I'm thinking the phone itself is not the problem just the information from the hotsync. Also - my looping 755p resists being hard reset. I can only get a white screen, colored boxes on screen, and the loop to function at this time. Is there an additional way to hard reset?

Sorry to say but what you have done should already fix the problem and you reset it properly and since still have the same problem , if this is still under warranty better have it replace or take it to service center near you for a free fix...

Well, thank God I had done a recent Hot sync! I found out how to do a hard reset by holding down the power button while reinserting the battery then letting the button go and the system will ask if you want to erase all data? I put yes! Then it erases all my data and restarts the phone. I had to plug the phone in to be recharged because the looping ultimately drains the battery. Then, I plugged in the Hot sync cable and pushed the button to start the sync and ta da! back to its working state! Yippee! Do it! It's easy! Just make sure to hot sync often so your info stays current!
I had the same problem, and here is how I fixed it. First, I hit the middle up/down key at the top as it was cycling between Access/Palm, and when it came to Palm, I turned it loose. This got it to go to the regular screen, but guess what....my phone would not work! So, I took it to the local Verizon dealer at Circuit City, and there I asked the guy if he would do a Hard Reset. He did, go the phone back up working again, but of course I lost EVERYTHING. Luckily, I had done a syn not too long before, and instead of telling the long story of what all happened there, I was able to get all the backed up info back onto my phone, and now everything is back to normal. This has happened to me twice (the first phone was replaced as defective, but it could have been fixed the same way). I love the Palm 755p, but be sure and sync as often as possible on your computer. It saves you from having to enter a ton of phone contacts back in manually!
try doing a hard reset just make sure you hotsync first so you can backup all your information. Always keep in mind the software you have loaded write it down and the website you got them from along with any registration codes. when doing a hard reset you will lose all the information and programs on the phone basically it will take you back to the way you first bought it.
How to Hard Reset a Treo 755
To perform a hard reset/clean wipe of a Treo 755, do the following:
1. Remove the battery cover from the back of the device.
2. Press and hold the power (red phone) button.
3. While holding the red power button remove and replace the battery from the device.
4. When you see the "Access Powered" screen on the device take you finger off of the power button. At this point, you'll be prompted to erase the device by pressing up on the directional pad.
probably dodgy software conflict. Try taking battery out and leaving for anhour or two then take out sim carrier. Put battery back and see if it starts properly. If not looping put sim in and try to switch phone on. if this works then there is a problem with software you have loaded so switch off back up before you sync. Then once you have synched the phone add back applications one at a time until you find the one that causes the problem. Of course you have to do it all over again once you have found the culprit!
Another cause, if you have attempted to upgrade the firmware, is a failure of the upgrade process. if you can't get this to work I am afraid the phone is bricked and needs to go back to Palm for repair.
