Colored refill ink cannot be recognized

It is called e5 error.
For Canon cartridges, after 4~5 refills, the color cartridge cannot be recognized by printer.

In this case...there is no solution so far...just replace with new cartridge.. that's it.
(To avoid e5 error, you need to make sure "plug out" the power, before take out your cartridge for refill. Yes... "plug out" the power cords!!!!

If you would like to save money, try refill kit by "ROADINK".
Not only they are easy, but also the printing quality is good.
For your better understanding pls check out my youtube video.
And will see how easy ink refill can be done.

try to remove the cartridge from the printer and then try to print some docx,,, without the cartridge.... an error should say that the installed cartridge is not recognized... just try to print thrice or more then put back the cartridge... this should solve the problem.... thnx..

New ink cartridge not recognized

Please check if there is not some dirt, or something blocking the contacts from reading. Also the ink level is measured by optical sensor that can also be dirty.
Also make sure you use an Original Canon cartridge.

I have a new Canon Pixma printer. Every time I replace an ink cartridge, the printer all of a sudden won't recognize the cartridge. After I clean the nozzles and play with it, it recognizes the new...

I spoke with Canon and they said the PIXMA 620 does not accept refilled cartridges. Occasionally they work without a problem but you should buy a new cartridge each time. I spoke with an authorized Canon repair company and the technician said that the thickness of the ink in the refills is thinner and can ruin the printhead so even if it does recognize the cartridge, refilled cartridges will ruin printhead and are a bad idea. Canon needs to become more ecologically and economically viable if you ask me!

MP500 ink tank cannot be recognized error U043

I have a canon mp510 pixma same message U043 and a u150 fault.
I cant see any chip to replace and have replaced my original cartridges with a non branded cheaper type, this might be why. Does this make a difference or is this the same problem occurring with replacement canon cartridges as well.

Dont want to buy genuine ones if its not going to make any difference.

Anyone who can help me would be appreciated
