-   iF THE PROBLEM PERSIST, WHY DON'T YOU RESET IT BACK TO THE ORIGINAL MANUFACTURES SETUP ON THE PROGRAMING. DO YOU HAVE A MANUAL WITH YOUR MACHINE? IF NOT MOST OF THERE MACHINES RUN SIMILIAR AND YOU SHOULD ASK FOR HOW TO RESET MACHINE IF YOU CANNOT FIGURE IT OUT ON YOUR OWN. THE REASON SOME DISKS ARE NOT COMPATIBLE IS THAT SOME MACHINES PLAY ONLY DISKS THAT ARE + COMPATIBLE OTHERES ARE WITH - . oTHER MACHINES WILL PLAY BOTH. CHECK IT OUT FOR BACK DISKS OR DISKS THAT HAVE BEEN DE MAGNITTIZED. I HOPE THIS INFORMATION MAY HELP YOU SOLVING YOUR PROBLEMS. THERE ARE GOOD MACHINE ON THE OTHER HAND. I AM SELLING MY MACHINE AS I HAVE UPGRADED AND NOW HAVE THRE OTHER MACHINES IN MY HOUSE. I DON'T LIKE THE OVER KILL

Check to see if the disc is spinning. You can do this by one of two ways either
  • a:) Listen for the disc to spin after inserting it or
  • b:) Place disk in drive right way up (so that the label is not upside down). Load the disc and eject the disc again to se if the disc has moved i.e. the writing may now be upside down.
If the disc does not spin then it is likely that there is something wrong with the disc motor. If it does spin then the issue is more likely to be with the laser unit. Try cleaning the lens but if this doesn't help it's likely to be a more serious and ultimately more expensive problem.

Hope this helps
