Question about Evesham Voyager 6400 Notebook

1 Answer

Screen trouble I have recently started to get fuzzy blue marks on my screen. it is only in small patches and mainly visible on my desktop. The marks are not in regular lines just in small patches. My laptop is only 3 years old. I don't know if it is the graphics card or something more serious. Does anybody have any ideas?

Re: Screen trouble

This could be clusters of dead pixels in the monitor, although there is nothing that can be done as the screens are normally too costly to replace.

When I move the The laptop screen turns green and fuzzy

Restart the notebook and press F10 to enter into BIOS which should be blue in colour. The move the laptop and check if the screen turns green and fuzzy.

If the screen turns green and fuzzy in the BIOS, then the isuse might be hardware malfunctioning of the screen and your notebook needs to be repaired.

My dell comes on but it doesn't go to windows it goes to an error screen what do I do?

What is the error? Is it a blue screen or some other type of issue? Did you recently change some hardware driver or OS setting?

What OS do you have installed - this is very important if you downloaded Microsoft updates in the past few days on a computer with XP. There was an issue with a patch and it has to be rolled back. The symptom of this issue is the blue screen with the message "Page_Fault_In_NonPaged_Area" The solution is detailed at: . Microsoft will offer free phone support at 1-866-PCSAFETY and has an alternate fix here:

Other errors can often be dealt with by rolling back with system restore (carefully - you can lose other drivers).

I hope this helps.

Hope This helps!
