You would use it look up a value in a table in columnar format. For Example - to Look up a price when you know the product name, or to look up the product code etc.

Please follow below step

Step 1. Open Tally

Step 2. Open Report Which is you want Transfer in Excel.

Step 3. Press CTRL With E (Ctrl+e) from keyboad

Step 4. Select Sharped Sheet or Excel

Step 5. After type location for file save like this D:/your folder name/

Step 6. After You type file name with xls. like this sales.xls

Tally odbc

Whatever reports you want ot convert in Excel there is a command in Tally to Export File. you can select excel in export configuaratin. Even .CSV formats can also be opened in excel.
To Export File in Excel .. In tally Goto that report and press ALT+E or look for "Export Command on Tally Toolbar or left panel.

certainly. most reports have a "save as excel" option once you generate them (at least, the full sized ones). CRE does have a direct QB interface however that is prob easier. you can also run direct queries off the database itself and save the results of those as an excel file.

Page breaks are are generally supplied by the controlling application, for example, Word, Excel.

For Excel, apart from using the "File" > "Page Setup" to define the page, you also have to define the "Print Area".

Depending on what you are doing, you either are presenting data or a chart, pivot table. Those have to be prepared within Excel to produce the report.
