Question about HP DeskJet F380 All-In-One Printer
On 818 hp cartridge five holes are there, which colour ink on which hole i have to put ink on them

Just open the sticker and there is a small hole on the body .get a inkjection with needle on top insert the needle in the upper hole and press the inkjection not more then 8 ml ink should be inserted.after you refill the ink just blow from the top where you refilled the ink .2 to 3 drops of ink should be dropped out from the nozzle clean the inked nozzle with a dry tissue.and then stick the sticker again on the body.and your cartridge is refilled.enjoy.laugh.climp.jump.run.clap.dance.shout.scream.give your self a tight pat on your back.say your very good.and have fun.woopy .you did it. ha ----ha----ha---ha---

Fill the catridge the usual way and then do the following it works
Remove both black and color cartridges from your printer. Turn the printer on and off 5 times. In between the on and off allow twenty seconds for the machine to power down completely. When turning the printer on allow it to go through normal start up so that it realizes there are no cartridges. Some HP printers retain the ID of the last 5 cartridges used (black and color).

i have injected 5 ml black ink in my 818 cartridge and inserted in my HP deskjetF2418 printer but it is not working and showing empty signal

First Hole light cyan, scond hole cyan, third hole megenta, fourth hole yellow, fifth hole light megenta. now check. it will support Photo quality.

Could have a corrupt driver.
Disconnect the printer or at least be sure it is turned off. I'd do both and when the CD software program asks you to connect the printer to the USB port, do so and it should again work properly.
