Can't Get MI Webcam to work on my lap...

Serial # on Webcam is 73201542
I "think" it's MI ??
When plugged into usb port of my HP Pavilion dv1000
and computer is booted it gives the "Found new hardware"
but cannot locate any driver.
I do not have any disk for this Web Cam.
Thanks ahead of time for any and all help.
