Check for a stock amp. If there is be sure to hook up the remote wire to the harness.

Pioneer DEH-P6500 head unit doesnt turn on

Check your radio fuse. It is likely if you didn't disconnect your battery terminal that you may have blown a fuse.
About the speaker distortion, you may need to install filters to each speaker. They are not very expensive and can be found at just about any electronics store.

Pioneer 5.1 dolby surround multichannel processor ?s

You will need extra amp(s) to run 5.1 surround sound using out IP-Bus at the brain to in IP-Bus at the processor and rca output to the multi channels amp(s) and control the surround mode which is automatically activate by the format of the disc. The IP-Bus cables is colored polarized at each end to inter connect all components. Just hook them in series follow the color you may add all the components you have. You can also down load wiring diagrams at pioneerelectronics.com. Goodluck.

Car speakers sound like they are still on

I don't think it would be your speakers. Speakers are only powered by the wires running from the head unit. Does your head unit stay on when your car is turned off? If so, you need an accessorised power source. One that only engages power when your car is turned to accessories. let me know.

Brand New Speakers Distorted and not right...

Are you still using the same head unit? You could try to run a short set of new wire to one of the speakers directly from the unit. Had you previously used these speakers in another vehicle...what I'm getting at is that you need to isolate the problem. If the speakers test fine in another vehicle, I would think there is something wrong with the existing head unit

Pioneer DEH-P2600

blue and white wire on a pioneer is usually the power antenna wire, most people use it as the lead for power to turn on the amp that is installed, the amp should be hooked up to the RCA jacks on the back of the player to the input RCA jacks on the amp. then the outputs vary, some amps are bridgable which means that you can hook up one speaker to both output speakers this will almost double the watts to the speakers. you must know which side would be positive and which side negative to set it up like this. also important is it a two or four channel amp. this all matters. if you can provide more info I can assure you the best hookup possible for premium sound.

Loud engine noise through speakers

Jadrian - I purchased a DEH-P780MP and have the exact same sound. My suond however increases in pitch throughout the RPM range and is audible when operating the headunit on ACC. I have found this problem to being typical in Checy Sports cars since I can swap this head unit out from my camaro SS into my Mustang Saleen and the sound disappears. The same is true for a swap into my SUV. Never quite figured it out! I think the 12V line from the fusebox or from the battery itself doesn't have "clean" power.
