No heat in hostess trolley

Probability of the heating elements in ceramic plate and oven going bad at same time is really low. One of your 115 volt lines is not getting power to the plate nor the oven element which needs 230 volts (both 115 volt lines)..

My oven takes a very long time to heat up, and never really achieves the set pre heated temp

Hi

This means a loose/broken wire on the oven temp sensor or the oven temp. sensor itself is bad and should be replaced. To solve this issue test the oven temp. sensor, it should read between 1080-1120 ohms, if the rating is more then that and the door appears to be closing fine then it is the control board that is bad and should be replaced. Hope this helps...please post back for further assistance.

Theres no oven tempature listed. how do i work the oven part?

Get yourself a COOKING thermometer, like for checking syrup/candy temps,--put it in the oven, turn the knob to certain spots and give the oven time to heat.Take a reading and mark on the knob what the temp is in perm marker.

Oven heats, but not enough. Takes a really long

Change the heat element in the oven. You will find it inside the oven towards the back under the pan. The part should cost about $125.00 maybe less. I just did it on my oven.

This is your igniting bar it regulates the gas and the start up of the oven. It is at the bottom of the inside of your stove and if you take off the cover you will see it. It is rectangular and when you try to start up the oven it glows orange. Change this and it should work fine.

Jgr8855bds range - oven problem

that's too long, check to see if you have flame in the broiler section, i'm thinking not. see if your ignitor is just staying on without igniting burner, ignitors will produce that much heat in that amount of time. if no flame at butner, replace ignitor.
