How do you clear the fax memory on a OCE FX3000? Says memory is full. Not connected to a pc just use machine for copies and fax

Check your owners manual. your machine may be out of memory. To free up extra memory, you can turn off
fax storage (see Turning off Remote Fax Options on page 64), print fax messages
in memory (see Printing a fax from the memory on page 46) or cancel a delayed
fax or polling job (see Checking and canceling waiting jobs on page 38)

I can't erase the faxes I already send

Hi There,

While not as popular as they were before the Internet became a principal means of business communication, fax machines are still an essential item in many offices. They are particularly useful on business documents when a signature is needed. Canon makes a number of fax machines that use both ink-jet and laser technology to receive and print documents. Most fax machines store incoming faxes in memory so you can reprint them, but occasionally the memory becomes full resulting in an error message. Your Canon fax machine's memory can be cleared quickly and easily so you can start using it again.

* Click the "Menu" button.

* Press the arrow buttons to scroll through the options on the screen. Select
"MEMORY REFERENCE" and click "Start/Copy."

* Use the arrow buttons to choose "DEL. PRINTED RX" then click "Start" again.

Press "*" to select the "Yes" option from the screen. This will delete all documents from the fax machine's memory.

* Click "Stop" to finish.

Hi i have a brother lc67bk fax printer it won't fax as memory full how do i clear

LC67BK is the Part No. for the Black Cartridge so I presume your Printer Model No. is MFC-420CN as detailed in the heading.

PDF Manual for this model is at the link below which explains about faxing multiple sheets using internal memory.

My Brother MFC7340 Fax Machine will not send faxes it has a busy signal always and a busy signal when someone tries to fax me.

You need to reset the memory, since previously you have dialed some number, which is not able to connect. So restart the printer. Unplug the printer for 10 minutes and plug back the power to the printer.

Hope this helps.

My brother mfc-490cw I can't send or recieve faxes.

According to the User's Manual for the Brother MFC-490CW:
  • Poor Line Connection indicates an issue with your telephone line (Page 136). If you are sharing the fax line with any splitters or computers, try connecting the MFC-490CW directly to the phone jack and send a fax. If you are still getting a Poor Line Connection error message, call the telephone company and have a repair technician check your telephone line.

  • Out of Memory error message means the machine's memory is full (Page 138).

    Try pressing Stop/Exit and wait until all current operations finish and try again.

    Try clearing the data in memory. To gain extra memory space. turn off Memory Receive (See Page 48).

    Try printing the faxes that are in memory (See Page 49).

  • System Busy error message wasn't in the manual, but I suspect it means there's a current operation in progress and the machine needs time to finish before moving on to another job. Just wait for the current job to finish, then try again.

How do i clear the fax memory? i can only send a few pages at a time without the fax not working and i think it's because the memory is full

most fax machines will show receiving memory left or transmit memory left, if it showing receiving memory full make sure there are no paper jams and there is lots of paper in paper cassettes and it will start to print all the faxes in memory... if its transmit memory, you will need to clear those documents in memory to be sent, probably waiting in que....
