SOURCE: help me find audio driver for - processor - x86 family15 model2.

When you run the Motherboard Auto install program does it stop and give you the error message that it cannot continue? If the Auto install program doesn't work then why don't you try this:

Open My Computer, Right click on the CD Drive with the install CD. and Then click Explore, NOT OPEN. If you click open then it will try to auto install again and it will give you the same error message. After clicking Explore find the folder that has the Audio drivers. Open it and start trying to manually install each driver. When you open each one and attempt the install these drivers, one of two things will happen. They will either install for you or it will give you a message that you do not have that type of hardware on your system and it will not install. Eventually the audio drivers will install and you should have you speakers working.

All the programes have been deleted from my pc windows 7 has been instaled but i have no sound drivers

1st hope that your mainboard is compatible with windows 7.

you need to go to the web site of your mainboard manufacturer for exp: msi, ati, asus, dell, hp, gigabyte, etc...

on the web site look for download drivers.

then you will need the model of the mainboard which is printed on the mainboard (in white text)

choose your OS, select sound or audio then click on the link to download the audio drivers.

If you dont see windows 7 for your mainboard, you can download it for Vista.

*if you dont see windows 7 or Vista, then you mainboard is not compatible with win7 and you will need to install windows XP

if its zip file, you will need to unzip it and run the setup file.

good luck.

Welcome to Fixya

The only audio drivers for this machine is for windows XP and Vista 32 bit. You may try using the Vista driver since Windows 7 anmd Vista are almost the same platform. You can download the driver here.

I want sound driver of MSI 865GVM3-V Motherboard for windows 7................plz help me

Drivers like, Lan, Audio, Intel INF Drivers, etc.. readily came packed with Windows 7 O.S. but the chipset drivers (Graphics driver included) isn't available for this model for windows 7 (Click Here for details).

You can run "windows update" from the Internet Explorer from the system where this motherboard is installed. Open Internet Explorer, click "Tools" and select "Windows Update" and follow the onscreen instructions, {Note: this should be done when the system is On and the internet is running}. Since Lan driver is readily installed on Windows 7, you need not to reinstall Lan driver, you can run the internet connection without any problem.

Another option is "Msi Live Update", download the application here (click here) and run the program from the system where this motherboard is installed. [Open the above link and click on one of the names of the areas "Europe" or "U.S." or "Asia"].

These are all what you can deal with this.

Good luck.

Thanks for using FixYa.

I have installed Windows 7 and now audio is not working

Windows 7 is faily new in the Operating System world, and it's a 64 bit OS, while many drivers are not yet supporting 64 bit. Hopefully soon they will have better 64 bit driver support for windows. Myself personally I like to use Ubuntu which is based on the GNU/Linux distribution.
Have you checked your device manager for any problems there with your sound card problem?
