Same prob, different unit. I have the Glo-Warm gwrp16.
Spark ignites the pilot light, but as soon as I ease up on the control knob it seems to cut off all fuel and doesn't light the panels

I actually get nothing but the spark, no pilot or flame.

I thought read somewhere on hear that if the pilot lights you may have to hold it down for 30 seconds or more. If that didnt work I think it said that it might be the thermalcoupler.

SOURCE: propane heater has spark but wont light

ODS/Pilot may be clogged make sure you clean it out according to the instructions in your owner's manual. If you need a copy of the manual let me know and I will try to find it for you. If it is still not working it could be the gas regulator or the ignitor cable. For Glow warm parts contact Master Parts at 800-446-1446 or you also can find them online at I hope this helps you!

My 40-FAC heater will not ignite and run. The igniter has been replaced. What should I check next?

These models require electrical power to run the blower fan.
When you connect the electrical cord, the fan should turn on, then you should be able to start / ignite the propane. if the fan does not turn on when you connect the power cord, you will not be able to ignite the propane.

150,000 BTU propane Reddy Heater shuts off after ignition

Is there a frost line on your LP tank, if so you may need to replace the tank with a larger tank or refill your tank. This can happen if the tank your using is too low or too small (use 100 lb tank or greater). If there is no frost line it may be an issue with the thermocouple. The manufacturer offers a service manual and owner's manuals on there site. This should assist you... Thank you

All pro spc-85

going through the backplate to the nozzle location is the thermocouple. it is a copper like tube that sits back from the actual flame. if you are looking for a replacement go to www dot desatech dot com.
