Sharp UX-117 display Wait a moment on power on and then no signal

I have not worked on a sharp ux-117 before, however most sharp fax machines are all alike when it comes to resetting this code. Turn the fax on while holding down the stop and start key don't let go until you see 1 =yes, 2=no for memory clear. press 1=yes. Some of the sharp fax machines have a small white rounded reset button. No guarantee but you have nothing to lose.
