TV turns off and green LED light stays on.

TV turns off and I hear a soft pop. The LED light stays on but no picture. I tried the self diagnosics by holding down the input and menu button for 5 secends, but nothing happens. The light just stays on and doesn't blink.

The problem started 2 days ago. When this happens I'm unable to turn the TV off with the remote. I have to unplug for a few minutes, plug it back in and then I'm able to turn it back on with the remote. The TV stays on for a short time but then turns off again.

1. Check for no 8.4 volts DC at pin 3 of PC9A10 on the Power PCB, if low or missing replace PC9A10 part # 268P058020. 2. LED does not blink at plug in. Check for 3.3-volts DC at connector RF pin 3 (system reset) if low or missing suspect the reset switch S7L20 part # 432P109010 on the Control PCB. 3. LED does not stop blinking after plug in. Verify the standby supplies, 12-volts at connector KA pin 17, 6-volts at KA pin 18 and the 28-volts at KA pin 19, if the supplies are present suspect the DM PCB part # 934C067002 4. LED does not stop blinking after plug in. Check C9B01, C9B02, C9B10, and C9B11 (1000 UFD 16) on the DM PCB, if they are bad replace them with part # 181P734030 (680 UFD 16 V). 5. LED stops blinking after 70 seconds of plug in but will not power on. This model is equipped with a keyboard lock feature; this can be mistaken as a no power condition. To unlock the keyboard press and hold the "menu" button on the front panel for 10 seconds 6. LED stops blinking after 70 seconds of plug in but will not power on. Check for 3.2 volts DC at connector RF pin 4 and 5 on the Signal PCB if low suspect problems with the switches/buttons on the Control PCB part # 935D736001 7. LED stops blinking after 70 seconds of plug in but will not power on. Keyboard is not locked and key inputs at connector RF pin 4 and 5 check good suspect the E2P PCB part # 934C061001

Since when this problem started.. Are you able to check it yourself..

otherwise take it to nearby repair shop for replacing the Fuse and check power Control & Supply board.

Have you check the cable of TV if not broken from anywhere? You also need to check internally for the Power control (PCB) Board for any burnt ICs and Connectors.
Note: Be careful during reparing Television as they contain Hazardous voltage inside.

My Samsung TV won't turn on

Please describe the problem more accurately. Flashing red usually means 'stand-by' state, flashing blue/green - starting up. When (during that) do you have a sound? Are there any 'high voltage' sounds like soft screeching from the screen? Is it LCD or LED?

Loud noise then lose picture

The green power LED probably is merely indicating that power is getting to your TV but the internal power supply is failing as evidenced by the loud "pop".

Sony bravia screen just stays on black and wont go to picture.

It sounds like a main board failure but could be a power supply issue as well. The set will need to be diagnosed

No picture, when powering up the light will turn yellow, them the t.v powers up and can hear sound but no picture, and then hear a click and light flashes green.
