If you have a very low humidity level then you will have very little water.

You also may hav a partial blockage as you suspect.

Look at the bottom of the evaporator coil, locate the drain pan. if it is dry as well (or very little water) then you must just have low humidity.

On the lower corner of the pan is the drain, thats where the greatest potential for a clog would be.

If your unit is equiped with a hose, check the hose for blockages.

It is okay for water to come out of unit unless if it comes into your living space. Then your angle of the unit is off and needs to be readjusted. lean the unit away don't have it level. Needs small amount of angle for excess condensation to run outside.

When water runs off the condenser, is there a path it follows to the back of the unit that cold become blocked?

ac units are designed with a small trough at the back of the unit under the evaporator fins
this trough drains out a small hose to outside the building
It can become obstructed by gunk from the inside of the house ( same gunk that blocks the air filters) or the hose attached to the drain outlet can become blocked
check for a mud wasp nest in the drain hole as well

Our whirpool split a.c. Is not dripping water

Hello, if the unit is not draining condensate then the line may be blocked Or the unit may be undercharged due to a leak. Sometimes if the humididty is not very high the unit will produce very small amounts of comdensate. Check the drain line first for ay blockages.

How do you drain water from a LP1010snr air conditioner?

P2 means the water collection tank is full and needs to be drained. You have to pull the drain plug at the bottom of the unit and drain the water.
Drain the water (small amount actually) in the shower. Note: There is a cap towards the bottom of the unit that you will need to unscrew, then pull out the rubber plug. Fired up the unit after the water drain ... it worked fine.

My split air unit is running inside and out but is NOT blowing any air at all?

Either the blower motor is not working or there is a blockage in the airflow. If you have no air movement in your vents then the blower is the most likely cause. If there is a small amount of air flow then a blockage is more common the cause.

If you suspect the blower motor then you will need to have the motor and the capacitor checked to see if either one or both of them need replaced.

If you suspect a blockage then cut power to the unit and remove the top. Check for a blockage at bother the evaporator coil and the condenser coil. Also check your blower wheel to see if it is in proper working condition. Hows your filter?

Drain blockage is the common problem. Drain block due to dust blocked in air filter, coil and drain pan. Call serviceman to service the unit completely.Helpful?

Why is water is coming into the room through the

Most probable cause is a clogged drain line or a drain that is not properly pitched. Ensure the unit is level and that the drain line is properly pitched and clear. Some units are equipped with a small condensate pump. The unit will leak water if the pump is not working properly.

Water leaking from portable air conditioner

First, make sure the unit is level. If so, you have a blockage or kink in the drain tube. Careful inspection should reveal any blockage, & you may be able to poke it thru with a piece of coathanger wire. Don't use excessive force, any block should be easily freed.
