Is the wireless mouse supported by your operating system? Is the mouse recognized in the device manager?

  • Jason Edinger May 11, 2010

Check the battery, that the receiver is plugged in properly, that the mouse is on if it has a switch, and that you have it synced properly.

it could be that wireless mouse could be disabled by mistake.Kindly go to control panel and enable the wireless connections again for the mouse.
Or
try making right click for Compuer icon go to properties and go to hardware tab and select the device manager.there we will see wireless adaptors
there when you click on (+) sign next to it would show the under listed wireless connection kinldy uninstall/install the one for wireless mouse.

I have changed the battery in my Cordless Trackman Wheel but Cannot get the mouse device to get recognized again?

Hi, 3 items top choose from ...
1) There is a sync button at the base of the wireless mouse and the wireless receiver. Press the button on the wireless receiver and then on the wireless mouse. They should now sync. and your mouse should then function.
2) Most likely that the drivers for the mouse may have been updated when your pc does windows update. You may need to re-install the drivers for the wireless mouse
3) reboot computer.
Good luck .. hope this helps.......

Tried to plug in wireless mouse would not come on, does the touch pad need to be off both of the usb ports not working, seems strange that both would not work at the same time.

Hello,

First ensure that the usb is the appropriate dungle for the mouse, not just any usb will work for it.

When you get the the wireless mouse it comes with a dungle that you are to connect to the laptop.

If the mouse falls or hit a hard object, it might get damaged and wont work.

Try to use a new wireless mouse on your laptop to see if it works. if it does, then the fault is from your former mouse.

Try to use the old mouse on another system, if it does not work, then you have to replace the mouse.

Take care

No mouse control via wireless mouse, or touch pad

IT SOUNDS LIKE YOU HAVE MAY HAVE DRIVERS OR IRQ THAT ARE CONFLICTING, TRY UNINSTALLING THE DRIVERS FOR YOUR WIRELESS MOUSE, AND REINSTALLING THEM, MAKE SURE THE WIRELESS MOUSE IS UNHOOKED BEFORE YOU REINSTALL THE DRIVERS.

Some wireless mouses and keyboards come with a disk. Did yours? If so, install it. You can also try to configure your computer to use the wireless mouse. For windows vista, go to --- Control panel>hardware and sound--- there you can change your mouse and keyboard settings.... hope this helps

I am using kensinton wireless mouse with my acer netbook, but now the touch pad no longer works and the mouse works intermittently

This is usually cause by interference from other electronic devices. Try a standard usb mouse and see if the problem goes away. If it does then you know something is interferring. Another solution would be to try fresh batteries in the wireless mouse as low batteries can also cause this problem. Hope these tips help you out.

How to connect blue tooth mouse to dell inspirom 1520

Hold on... are you sure that you have a bluetooth mouse or do you have a wireless mouse with "pen drive" like dongle? If it is with a dongle, it probably is a common wireless mouse which operates on its own wireless frequecy. You may have a driver CD that comes with the mouse or it simply works "plug and play". However, there are bluetooth mouse too, in this case you just need to turn on your bluetooth on the PC and pair the mouse with your PC just like any other bluetooth device. In either case, a LAN card in not involved. Hope this helps.

Nope.. send back... if it's refurb.. should be under warranty. They possibly forgot to reconnect keyboard and mouse cables under the keyboard.
