Access (HSDPA) for a 3G mobiles. i had network problems/signal issues
weeks ago when i used that setting, so i changed my phone setting from
3G to GSM. [uhm..i don't think you can find that in the user guide
either, hehe. you have to browse and make yourself familiar w/ your
phone=) ] with that i don't think i can make video calls, but who
cares.. my signal issues were resolved. now, whenever i switch back to
3g, i can still see my signal bar on the upper left fluctuates.. sigh ;c

EV-DO this is a normal icon especially on e815 Verizon phones.
EV and EV-DO stands for Evolution Data only. Evolution data Optimized. Like CDMA Technology but faster and better for certain features. So don't worry about it, is just part of the E815.
looks like you have turned ON the dictionary, switch it off. while you are in the create message folder keep pressing # key until you see "abc" or 'ABC' on the top left corner of your display. this would mean your dictionary is off
