Reading hear and thinking this sounds like my problem, but it's on the left side. Then it dawned on me that mine is mounted upside down on the ceiling! So...I guess my stripe is on the right side too. On a 103" screen, my stripe is about 1 1/2 inches wide. It's about 6-8" from the edge of the screen. It is not ALWAYS there. It comes and goes. Sometimes I turn it on and it'll be there the whole time I'm using it. Sometimes I'll watch an entire movie and it'll blink in and out a few times, but not stay longer than a couple of seconds at a time.

Infocus projector power supply dead

the caps dry out. look for bulging caps. you won't find a schematic for the ps boards. infocus had someone else make them. the problem seems more like a overheating issue. as for the other one with the "just the fans", check the colorwheel.

I had the same issue too. Dream Vision also makes the DL500 under different brand names.

Try the Kodak DP850 manual.

first reset the settings to factory default (menu, settings). if that changes nothing and the colorwheel is still in tact, the main board is bad.

Infocus X3 light tunnel

Are you speaking of the small prism shaped tunnel or the lamp itself? The prism or light tunnel may be accessed underneath the metal bracket that holds the color wheel in place. Be extremely careful as even breathing on this may cause it to collapse (ok, I exaggerate).
