What you are describing is pretty common. Unfortunately, the only solution is to reset your phone. :(

Sucks, I know, but here are the directions in case you resort to it:

  1. Turn off iPhone - Hold down the Sleep/Wake button for a few seconds until the red slider appears, then slide the red slider. Ignore this step if your iPhone is already off.
  2. Press and hold down the Home button for about 10 seconds until a yellow triangle with a text which says Please Connect to iTunes appears. when i attempt to go - iphone-recovery-mode.jpg
  3. Plug the iPhone into Mac or Windows PC. Release the button if you haven’t.
  4. Run and open iTunes if it’s not already opened yet.
  5. iTunes will prompt a message that says iTunes has detected an iPhone in recovery mode. Click OK.
  6. You will be taken to the iPhone pane. Then, click on Restore.
  7. Wait for the full restoration process to complete, and the iPhone will be back to the original settings state as when it left the manufacturing factory, typically a working phone again if you face any problem, unless it’s hardware related.

Black screen when i call somebody

on top right side of your phone, there is a proximity has a specific use ie:- when you place it near your ear while calling proximity sensor gets covered and the touchscreen is disabled to prevent accidental pressing of button.

you are facing this problem because you laminated the proximity sensor so it is always covered and immediately when you call the touchscreen is disabled and so the screen gets blank..

remove your lamination to get it working

Blackberry curve 3g 9300 worked fine then for no reason went to a blank white screen and now is off and will not take charge or turn on nothing please help as only a few months old

I would attempt to pull the battery from the phone first. Wait about 1 minute or so then put it back in. This is hard reboot. It may take some time to come back up.

If that does not work you may need to backup and reinstall your OS.

1) Here is how you back up your device.

2) Here is how you reload the software cleanly on the device.

3) Here is how you restore your data to the device if it is not backed up automatically.

If all else fails, you should contact your mobile carrier especially since its only a few months old.

I hope this helps

My Apple IPhone 3G Screen just went blank. It sync's to my ITunes and I restored it but in never turned back on. Any suggestions?

Sorry to read about your problem, I hope this helps you out.
you will have to put the phone in the DFU mode and restore with itunes

To put the iPhone into DFU mode so you can do an iTunes firmware restore follow these steps:

Step One
Open iTunes and connect the iPhone to your Mac.

Step Two
Press and hold the Home button and the Sleep/Wake button at the same time.

Step Three
After exactly 10 seconds release the Sleep/Wake button. Continue holding the home button until you iTunes pops up a message telling you that it has detected an iPhone in recovery mode.

The iPhone screen will remain black like this:

NOTE***: It may take a few attempts to get your iPhone into DFU mode. Generally, I hold down both buttons then release the Home button just before I think the Apple logo would appear. If you are still holding both buttons down and you see the Apple logo you are holding them down for too long!

Try a reset. Hold down the power key at the same time as the round home key until
phone powers down. Release buttons only when you see the apple logo,
then wait a min or two for phone to re-boot. You will not lose any data on the phone.

If this does not work, try an actual system reset. Sync iPhone to computer to back
up essential data ie contacts apps etc, then go to settings general and reset. Reset
all settings as a last resort. This will give you a fresh start and should sort out
the majority of any bugs the phone has. A resync with you computer will restore apps etc.

Hope this helps and if so please vote.

Phone will not come on

i had the same problem as well. there is a small button to the top right of the settings button. you can take a toothpick or paperclip and gently tap the button several times. tap it to see if you get a response, if not then turn off the phone and turn on the phone with the button tapped.
