Is the dryer getting hot? Is the airflow coming out of the exhaust strong? If the airflow is good, but not hot, the problem is most likely a thermal limit sensor.(These sensors determine the air temperature, and cycle the heat source) If the airflow is not forceful, but the vent hose, exhaust vent, and lint trap are clear, then the blower/fan may be encrusted with lint, or broken. The sensors and blower can be difficult to get to, for cleaning or replacement, but possible. It depends on your skill level. Remember to always disconnect the power when attempting a repair on any electrical device!

Make sure the dryer exhaust tube is clear of lint and not kinked. Next thing I would check are the thermal fuse and thermostat. Check this out: http://removeandreplace.com/2013/09/21/fix-clothes-dryer-heating-drying-clothing/

Hirundo washer/dryer fills with water during the dry cycle so clothes come out hot and soaked what could be the cause?

Moister in the dryer:

This means that the moist air is not escaping correctly and that is why it is taking so long to dry your clothes - if they dry at all.
a good start at cleaning out lint blocked areas, I suggest go to the back of the dryer and take off the vent pipe or hose and check things out with a flashlight. Clean out all the lint and dust you can, even use a vacuum cleaner on it. Make sure the vent pipe is completely clear of any obstructions.Non-rigid ventshas much worse air flow than smooth piping, so you might want to upgrade tosmooth piping.
Once you have all the lint and dust cleaned out of the dryer, go to where the dryer vents outside. Again, clean the area thoroughly. There is usually a trap door that opens when the dryer air is on and closes when it is not operating. It should be completely clear of lint and opening smoothly.
Also, look into the exhaust area on the dryer carefully to see if there is a hole or gap in the dryer's internal air ducting. Without the vent pipe connected and with no clothes in the dryer, start it and let if run for a few seconds and make sure there is strong air flow from the exhaust port. You should feel it strongly on your hand.
Re-connect the vent pipe and start the dryer again. Feel all around the bottom to see if any air is blowing out from under the bottom. This would indicate there is a break or gap in the dryer's internal ducting. If you do feel air, you will need to call a service technician to see if it can be repaired. If your dryer is very old, there could be a rust hole in the duct.
In conclusion Cause ·Poor venting is a common reason why water might leak into a clothes dryer. Since the dryer works to expel moisture, it is important that the dryer's vents are properly installed so that the humidity can escape.
Effect ·If the humidity in the dryer is trapped, it will eventually turn to water. This will lead to poor drying results or longer drying times, depending on the amount of leakage.
Prevention/Solution ·Faulty dryer venting can be prevented by making sure that the humidity is directed outdoors. Also, vents should be cleaned of lint and other debris before each load so that water can readily escape. Taking these precautions can ensure that the moisture will meet dry, open air.

Washing comes out covered in fluff and bits after drying?

check to make sure that the lint trap is clean and clear -- also check the exhaust hose and outside vent for any obstructions. also check the vent holes that lead to the lint trap -- sometimes these can become plugged up with fibers and not lint out the wash proper.

Washing machine lint trap

There is no trap per say. The lint catcher is self cleaning when the water is pumped out. It sounds like you are overloading it and the clothes are hitting the agitator. Operation should be agitation by water movement not beat by the plastic fins, run a wash cycle hot water no clothes to flush things out and try smaller loads.

How do I removethe lint? Clothes are coming out with fluff...

Sorry for the obvious.....
Fluff on the cloths is from the lint trap not capturing it from the air flow.
Air is passed into the clothes from the laundry room. It is heated and then passed over the clothes... then filtered air is forwarded to the outside exhaust.

If you are seeing lint on your clothes, then the air coming in from your laundry area is not lint free.
1. check the back/bottom of the dryer for lint accumulation.
2. Remove the lint trap and clean out the duct work.
3. Inspect all the flooring and areas around the dryer for dust/lint - and clean any that you find.

I believe that you will then have a clean and dry load.
The proceedure of cleaning described above should be repeated every 6 months or so....

Yes - the vent exhausts humid air, and draws IN fresh dry air. So the humid air is staying trapped in your unit.

Lint problem

You must GRARANTEE full and free ari flow outside of the building. Typically this type of complaint is related to restricted air flow outside of the machine...normally there is lots of lint, and it exits through the filter, but when flow is restricted, lint remains inside.

Gas dryer heats fine but shuts down before the drying cycle is over taking longer to dry clothes. Lint trap and exhaust tube cleaned out.

You are going to most likely need a vent cleaning. The dryer is getting too hot and shutting off because it is not exhausting good.

Dryer seem to take to long drying

Hello,

Very common problem. You need to call a
duct cleaning company and tell them to clean
your dryer vent. Rule-of-thumb: dryer vents
should be cleaned every couple of years to
prevent them from being clogged with lint and
causing lint fires. This is definitely your problem.
Good luck :)

p.s. one way to verify a clogged vent is
to go outside where the vent exits the house
and feel the air-flow. should have adequate air-flow.
