So he went to his favorite Chinese Restaurant, called the manager and the friendly chinese manager solved the problem in seconds!. Are you sure it's Chinese and not Korean? Because there are not so many Korean reataurants around.
Go to settings--then go to phone settings--then go to language settings--then go to phone language there you can change your phone's language to english if this is not possible contact your phone's website there you will find latest details.
