Question about Toshiba gigabeat MES60VK Digital Media Player
Whenever I turn on my player, the words "MAGNAVOX" appears, like always, but that's all it does, and then turns off. It does this no matter what I do, and turns off after several minutes or seconds.
I tried battery replacing, but it doesnt work.
It is not even recognized by my computer, and I've tried firmware and holding it for 10-15 seconds with the back button and +volume.
Nothing works still.
So is there any way to fix this?
Or am I screwed...
I thought I'd try leaving it alone for a few days, but I dobut that'll do anything...

TO SOLVE THE ABOVE ISSUE
* REMOVE BATTERY
*PLACE THE LOCK BUTTON IN UNLOCK POSITION
*INSTALL MAGNAVOX SOFTWARE IN THE PC
*CONNECT TO THE INTERNET
*CONNECT THE DEVICE TO PC HOLDING THE SYNC BUTTON ON THE DEVICE
THEN YOU WILL SEE AN MSG STATING "DO YOU WANT TO REPAIR THE DEVICE"

Just to clarify for those of you who are confused easily like me:
When you connect the mp3 player into your USB port, you need to hold the button down AS you are plugging it in, not after it is in the port. THen the device manager will recognize it. ^_^
