TTN tension, take up, needle.
Beginning with the spool, guide the thread through the thread guides to the tension assembly. Pull the thread through the tension assembly and test it to make sure the tension is working correctly.
(To do this test, adjust your tension setting to normal or medium or 5 or something in the middle. Raise the presser foot and pull the thread through the tension. It should pull easily!! Lower the presser foot and pull the thread. It should pull noticeably harder.) If it passes this test, continue up through the take up lever, then down through the thread guides to the needle. Make sure your needle is fully inserted and turned the correct way. This is an Industrial machine and the needles do not have flat sides. The long groove goes to the front of this machine and it threads front to back.

I promise you ,if your machine is sewing, you have it threaded through the tension, then the take up lever and then the needle (from the left to the right). Yes, they ALL thread the same.

You are probably out of time. But check to make sure you have the right needle and it's fully inserted first.

Hi, i bought a used singer 20u sewing machine, but i couldnt use it because the bobbin case does not lock into the hook, and the bobbin is not very stay firm on the case, the thread is hard to pull once I...

since the machine is used, I suggest having the machine serviced
they can check to see why the bobbin case doesn't lock into the hook, the bobbin case may have to be replaced or it could be the hook needs to be replaced, the sewing machine shop will be able to tell you for sure.

Bobbin Case Popping Out

I had the same problem with my singer 20u professional. I tried to find the answer here but no help but I made a call & she said the bobbing might be too big fer the bobbing holder. the bobbing holder is the round metle thing that fits in ure machine. u have to make sure the bobbing ( the thang that holds the thread is the exact same size as the bobbing holder. Hope this helps.
