Question about Logitech R-20 Computer Speakers

Power problem I recently lost the power adaptor that came with these speakers so I bought a new universal-type adaptor. Do I set it to - or + ?

Probably "+" you need to check the polarity of the speakers, there should be something like this near where you plug in the power adapter: the above symbol would mean "+".

If you look on the back of your speakers you should find a label that may tell you what the voltage and current rating is..

Need to know how to use Apple Pro Speakers with Apple iMac Comp.

Does your iMac have a headphone jack, this is an output source that can be used to input to other amplified sources. I'm not sure what type of connector that is on your Pro speakers but if it has a universal jack then plug this in the headphone jack on your computer.

What's the volt & amps of Altec Lansing AVS300 2.1 speaker system

Your adapter is Part No. AVX300-A6859, Model No. 9701-00748-IUND.
Or You could get a universal that is rated for output of 18volt DC, 650ma, Center Positive.
I have used a 15volt DC, 900 ma with no problem, but I never run the volume high.

of course yes, the purpose of the converter is to convert the power output to desired voltage.
