It sounds like an ENCODER STRIP, not worth fixing.

Hp t1100 grinding noise after print

I suggest you run the diagnostics for the printer which allows you to isolate and run individual components. That way you can see which item is causing the noise. If it is coming from the left side, you might have a problem with the cutter.

8110 printer stops printing after running the yellow and red colors...will not feed paper back in to finish with the rest of the printing...not sure what to do

It sounds like you may have a damaged ribbon (transfer film)
Take out the cartridge and with the barcode side facing you, turn the left spool (takeup spool) counterclockwise until you have seen a complete square of cyan (blue) and magenta (red) and yellow (actually yellow) go past, and then reinsert the tri-color cartridge.

My printer has a paper jam but there is no paper jammed in my printer what do i do?

run the roller cleaning application in maintenance a few times then turn your printer upside down and gently shake it side to side to clear any foreign objects that may have fallen down the paper feed.
I know it sounds silly but on 3 occasions now i have cleared the "jam".

My A920 dell printer was working fine, I cleaned the inside (gently slid the print head/cartridge to the side) Now it just bangs from one side to the other when I turn it on?

Sounds like the clear stripe that runs behind the cartridge holder is not feeding through the senser that recognizes where the cartridge is. Realign stripe and it should be ok.

When i print from the brother hl2040 printer there is a ink spots running down in the page. how can i fix this problem?

It sounds like you have damage to either your transferr roller of the drum, you could try running a laser printer cleaning sheet through it a couple of times but usually the only way to sort the problem is to replace the part that is causing the problem.
Take the drum out and turn it by hand using cog at the side to turn it to see if its marked.

HP 2210 Printer - Scanner sounds like it is stuck

It's possible that the mylar strip has become contaminated with ink and/or dust or is loose.

The mylar strip runs horizontally along the length of the printer. It threads through a slot in the carriage and is connected by hooks on both sides. Make sure that it is still connected on both sides.

If it is connected properly on both sides, try cleaning it. Gently rub a moistened lint-free cloth back and forth across the strip. The easist method is to squeeze the strip between your thumb and forefinger along with the damp cloth.

If the strip is not loose and cleaning it does not cure the problem, you'll probably need help from a certified HP technician.

PROBLEM BROTHER 2040 PRINTER

Have you replaced the drum and toner? It sounds as if the printer is saying it's time. The motor constantly running usually means it's trying to add toner to satisfy the toner sensor, but it's empty.
