Question about Zooper Zydeco Z344 Jogger

1 Answer

Zooper Zydeco Backing out of my garage, I hit the handlebar of the Zooper with the passenger side mirror. The handlebar of the Zooper is jointed such that it can be raised and lowered. The joint is secured with a circular plastic piece. This piece is now broken. Is it possible to get a replacement part or have the handlebar repaired?

Re: Zooper Zydeco

Our stroller had a similar break, just below the 'pivot point'. I have been in touch with Zooper directly (Dan Slaughter - and had a new piece shipped to us in Toronto for about $20 American. Removing the old piece wasn't too bad, but I did have to drill out the old rivots. I am however having problems reinstalling the new piece, because of the wires contained within the steel frame (which allow the folding function). If you can do without the folding function, you're laughing. That's what I'm considering doing. Hope this helps. Jason.

Have a flat tire and need to find a replacement

The easiest thing to do is go to a local bike shop ... bring the flat inertube to them... If you can bring it to one of the mom and pop stores usually you get better service and they know alot more than the huge retail stores... ie.. Garts.. Dicks.. Scheels.. etc.. they may even be able to patch it up for you .. hope this helps..I know when I need a replacement if I bring the whole bike in they will even put the new tube on the tire for free,,,

Zooper Boogie User's Manual

There's a safety lock located on the right side of the frame, about 6-8" down from the handle bar. There are also 2 sliding locks, one located on either side of the stroller, on the underside of the frame. One is located just below the safety lock. First pull up on the safety lock, and while keeping the safety lock open, simultaneously slide the other 2 levers up toward you. The stroller will unlock/open and you will be able to fold it.

How do i unfold a zooper tango double stroller?

There's a locking mechanism on the left hand side about mid-way down just under the armrest. You need to pull the plastic lock off of the pin and then unfold according to the "fold" instructions included in the manual.

Unfolding the Chassis - Handlebar Loose

I had the same problem... the handlebar would 'un-pop' and shake around a lot making the whole stroller unsteady. I started to get all upset and worried about sending it back but i decided to clean it first. After using the silicon spray from the maintenance kit on the joints of the stroller IT WORKS LIKE NEW! yay! Try this before assuming its broken :)

How do I fold my Zooper Sport?

OK, I finally figured out how to fold & unfold this ******!

To fold: Stand behind your stroller. Go to the joint in the middle of the push handle. You have to simultaneously push up on the button underneath the joint and pull back on the little trigger at the front of the joint. I've found that this will require both hands. Doing this will unlatch the joint, and you now need to push it forward to fold the handle into a "V" shape. Now look down to the crossbars just above the rear wheels, and you'll see a handle (kind of like on a sutcase) above a sort-of triangular-shaped piece of plastic. Lifting up on either of these will collapse the frame the rest of the way. Push the rear wheels as far forward (toward the front wheels) as you can, and it will latch shut. If you swivel the front wheels around to the rear, the stroller will stand on its own

To unfold: From above and behind your folded stroller, with it standing on its front wheels (as described above), place both of your hands on the side/corner joints of the rear push bar. From the top, run both of your thumbs down the back side of both rails. Your thumbs should hit a 'bump', then a slightly smaller 'bump' immediately underneath the first. That second 'bump' on each side is the latch that keeps your stroller folded. Squeeze both the latches on each side with your thumbs, and you should hear them unlatch. Now the frame is free, and you have to push down on the suitcase handle in the middle while lifting up on the center joint of the push bar. Pull back on the push bar until it latches, and then keep pushing down on the suitcase handle until the whole thing latches.
Good luck!
