Computer d drive full

Yes its always recommended to keep at least a minimum of 20% of total drive space as empty for lag free performance.
you will need to delete unwanted files on the drive to create some space else the computer would start running slow as the drive becomes full.
Please let me know if you have any other queries.

Hard Drive is full

Hello,
if the Hard Drive is full you need to remove some software or any large file from the computer to free up some space on the Hard Drive , may want to buy another hard drive or get an External hard Drive to help with the space problem .

Cannot download anything for internet.gets to 99% and stops.have checked internet options to make sure downloads are enabled.am running ie7.have never had this problem before.it seems to download faster...

It is compiling the file and preparing to write it to the hard drive. I would check your hard drive and make sure it is working properly and doesn't have errors.

D drive onj dell dimension 2400 will not open...

Using a small needle their should be a hole in the front. This is the safety eject hole that will open the drive 99% of the time. Replacing the drive is just as easy. remove the few screws on the bottom of the laptop nearest the drive and grasp ahold of the bay and slide it away from the computer....hope this helped some....

I have an acer computer which has a c: and a d: drive (not the cd rom) and the c: drive has 3% left on it and the d: drive has 99%. Could you please tell me how to get access to use the d: drive?

The D: drive may have the restore files that Acer put on, in case you need to restore the computer when it all goes wrong/corrupt.
It should be hidden and only available as an option to boot from when you start up the computer.
If it has'nt got those files and you can see the drive icon in My Computer then you should have access to it by default.
