I have had this phone for almost 2 years. i have never had any major problems with it. EXCEPT, yesterday, i opened the phone, and the screen didn't light up. i pressed the end button, and then the screen worked. as i closed the phone, i noticed the screen blink, at a certain spot in the slider it would go black, and then come back on. after about 2 hours it reversed itself, to the point that the screen only worked at a certain point, not open, and not closed. then the phone shut off, and will not power back on.
This sounds like a flex cable issue. You will need to have a tech examine the device to see if the flex cable needs replacement.
The flex cable is the ribbon cable that connects the screen to the rest of the electronics and allows the slider mechanism to slide and have the device maintain proper electrical connection. After two years it may very well be worn out.
a 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.

the major problem with fans is the bronze bushes that the armature runs in get dry from use and seize on the shaft. IF you are capable get to the bushes and you may find a piece of felt next to the bushes . Put some machine oil into the felt and spin the fan with your finger until it loosens up. Otherwise scrap it
you must have to make reset to factory default, go to the MENU, and ask to restore. see your owner manual, or download from your supplier company or go to www. retrevo.com and get it.
However you must try to see if the battery charger adapter is o.k or battery this is very importante, because this would be a problem . test it.Otherwise the software is corrupted.
There isn't really major problem, but a problem.
You will need to unplugged your unit and take it apart. Are you handy?
If and when the unit is apart look at the motor and the fan exhaust and see if there is a coin or screw is jamming the motor or the fan
while you are in there you may want to clean it up,
That should be the problrm
the problem is things arent made to last anymore and if you replace the impeller then the chance of the motor burning out is high because pumps dont last long anymore and if you have a problem with one it the first year or 2 then thats all that pump is ment to last.
I had same problem last week. My GE JVM1650 Spacemaker stopped after a few seconds of heating. Owned 16 months, manufactured Jan 2005. It was the magnetron, which was replaced yesterday. The magnetron has a 10-year warranty, but I had to pay $161.00 for labor by a GE technician. The call-out fee was waived at my request. I don't know what that amount would have been, but I can't believe the $161.00 for what was about 1/2 hour labor once diagnosed. Good Luck!
