My mp3 player lets me add music but when i try to play it no music comes out
From Dennis Houghton; I have the same problem.music seems to load from a CD by "Ripping" and shows it is there when looked at in My Computer, but as you say it will not play. The two tunes that were on it when it was supplied, also seem to have disappeared. I wonder if it is something to do with the sync being blocked by the disc manufacturer?

MP3 players can only play music files in mp3 file format. You can download mp3 music files from the Internet toyour computer and then copy them to your MP3 player. For your CD collection, you need to convert your CDs tomp3 music files onto your computer or download them from the Internet and thencopy them to your MP3 player after you have connected the USB cable tothe MP3 player and the computer. You can do this using Windows Media player and Rip the CDs - Media Player willcreate a MP3 music file for each music track.Click on this link for instruction on converting music files to mp3 fileformat :- http://www.fixya.com/support/r5798418-creating_transferring_mp3_music_files

Hi there, I use WMP too and have had good results with it. My thought is some files can not be played like some avi files won't work. They have to be windows compatible or they won't work on your mp3 player. Be careful what you download too (viruses) can affect your players software. I would do a virus scan before transfer. Good luck.
Actually, ultimatum, this particular model does play both music and video files, though the latter must be in AMV format. The mp3 player should have come with a CD containing the conversion software you will need. If not, try googling 'WMV (or whatever filetype your videos are) to AMV converter'.
I do not think it is possible to transfer videos directly from YouTube to your player, but there is software out there that will let you "record" videos online and save them to your computer. These files can, in turn, be converted and transferred to the device via the included software.
if u used window media player its will mess up your mp3 by duplicating songs and not leting u play songs. What i do is connect it to the computer and it should pop up. DONT open window media player. Open the files and add your music by dragging them into your mp3 from another folder. This only works if you have a different folder of music. It should work. If all your music is in Widows media player it wont work. Also try deleting all your music from ur mp3 but copy your musice onto your computer first. Good luck i hope i helped.
can the mp3 player play your old music i have the some player here is what might need to be done there are some thangs to make your music player work that been download you can not delete them at all you can only play mp3 and wma but that have to be formated to 64k to play your music the best 32k does not work very good try putting the sd disk and put your music on it and try it then this player is ok but it cant view by folders like my phone and Ipod does. to put music on the mp3 player use windows midea player it works better for me
Your IPod will only play iTunes files and these are encrypted. Visit the below site and install ITunes 8. You will be able to rip your Cd’s into this software and convert into ITunes to play on the IPod http://www.apple.com/itunes/
Format error means that you are not playing the file extension which is supported by your mp3 player ,it should be .mp3 extension. for eg if your song name is let the music play.it should be as let the music play.mp3 if you are unable to see .mp3 extension goto my computer>tools>folder option >view tab > uncheck "hide extension for know file types". if you have any problem .just reply with a comment so that i can help you further
