I have seen this happen when a router stores a "CACHED" address for a website. The only solution is to power off the router (reboot wont always resolve).

Other things to check:
- Make sure the Comcast and Buffalo routers are not using the same subnet.
- Try to use an alternate DNS on the Buffalo, 8.8.8.8 is a good one (its googles DNS)

I have three computes connected to my router. Two in the same room and one in a room less than 30 feet away. The one in the next room has a low signal of two bars and I want to know how I can improve this...

You can buy a bigger antenna. You can find them on websites like directron, or any other computer website. It's called a high gain antenna. Wireless signals are greatly reduces when they have to go through certain surfaces, like walls, brick and the like. Another thing you can do it put the wireless router closer inbetween them. Or even up in the attic.

2. Connect the computer back to router, upgrade the firmware.

3. Then powercycle modem, router and check internet connectivity.

The above steps should help. If not, please let me know.

Different websites

Try to open port 443 on your router or try change the MTU size to 1492. If it still doesn't work, contact toll-free tech support Supportrix at 1-877-787-8749 and use "supportcall" as a promo code for a free technical support call.

Hope this helps!

NETGEAR WGT624 Router Troubleshooting

Hello!

Inability to access certain websites is due to three main factors.
  1. Security on the web browser is set too high
  2. MTU not set on the router properly
  3. Secured websites
Lowering Down the Security Settings on Internet Explorer

Step 1: Double-click Internet Explorer and click Tools.
Step 2: Select Internet Options, click Security then Custom Level. A window similar to Step 3 will appear.
Step 3: Select Medium-low under the Reset to drop-down menu.

If this did not work, you may try to:

-- enable the MTU on the router.
-- forward port 443 on the router
