Incomplete mixing

How do I keep things from sticking to the bottom and middle of my bowl? The beaters don't seem to completely clean all the surfaces and I end up with a layer of ingredients stuck on the bottom and middle and they don't properly mix in with the rest of the ingredients.

This mixer cannot be raised or lowered to adjust. I too have had the same issue with bread baking. Try spraying a light layer of Pam on the plastic bowl before mixing. This may help.
