Ok Did you have sound on your previous speakers, if not, check your hardware manager and make sure you have the driver installed. You can check by going to open your volume control in the asseries from your start button.

Uninstall and reinstall the driver.

you go to device manager ->sound card-> right lick uninstall -> refresh-> it should auto find and install.

Good luck let me know whats up

Ok lets just make sure we are on the same page.

You had a speakers that worked and plugged in to your audio jack . Correct?
Then you got new speakers and they connect through what the audio jack or the usb?
Now did you try the old speaker to make sure they still worked or like a headphone into the jack just to make sure sound is coming out.

if the new and the old are both audio jack plugins and the old one works and the new one dont. then your speakers must be broken. or the driver does not support the new speakers but that is very very unlikely but if you feel that is it use unknown device identifier to indentify the audio driver.

Honestly it sounds like the speakers are no good

Check your speaker connections and volume adjustment knob.

If there is a power light indicator of your speaker make sure it is working so that you will know that there is power passing into your speaker.

Clicking sound when I turn on the speakers, did not do this before, just started. Have unplugged and plugged in again, checked all connections and still does the same. Have had them for at least 4-5 years,...

if the clicking sound is coming from the speakers themselves exposing the frontal cone to check for tears would be a good idea if thats not the case its proably a short inside the system itself and may become a bigger problem in the future if its still under warranty I would return it for a new one before the problem gets anymore severe

What Is the Blue Input Port on the Back of the AOpen Subwoofer?

It is a proprietary controller that plugs in to that port. Kind of a wired remote, that controls on/off, subwoofer volume, and speaker volume.

No speakers

Go to start program accessories entertainment colume control. if it give you an error like no sound driver go to and download that program and find the device right click and find the driver download.

You can go to your device manager to see if there is any unknown devices by right clicking on my computer and then properties and then go to hardware, device manager and see what up there.

Uninstall and re install the audio sound driver

Hello there
For your speakers to work, my friend, you need a sound card, it could be a external USB sound card, (turtle beach) or internal Creative Labs, PCI card. "time to buy new gallet!"
