If you blocked the iPod, with the wrong passcode, it will ask you on the screen, to enter the password from the Apple id he has. Only a part of the account name is to be seen on the screen.
If that does not work, take the iPod and the invoice and your ID to the Apple store and ask them to reset it. That could take some time (days) but as long as you can prove it is yours, I think they will help. Be aware if his "friend" changed the password on the Apple Account, he or she can buy everything with the credit card connected to the Apple id. eventually ask Apple to block the account if you see some purchases on your credit card.

I hope this helps.

ITouch not connecting to wireless

Do you still got your manual? If you do go to the back and find your page that has a number for your apple ipod type, then they should be able to help you with your probelm. If you don't have it, go to your ipod website and type in there search box WGR614v6. Then it should have help or support or firmware and it should fix it. Hope it works.

Ipod touch does not accept passcode input

put it in DFU mode while connected to the computer. to do this, hold the home and power buttons for 10 seconds and then let go of the power but keep on holding the home for 10 secs. the screen will be black and nothing will show up. go to itunes and click on your ipod on the left. then click restore. this should work.

Itouch parental control disaster

Only way to do this is to restore your ipod touch through iTunes, which will erase all your songs and your settings, which would solve your parental control issue.

Try this to get your songs off your ipod touch
Not sure if it will work with the touch, but does work with other ipods..

8gb ipod touch will not connect to internet when i have a full wi

Hi there,

You shouldn't need to change the Address or DNS.

On your wireless router, make sure of your Firewall settings (if there is any form of blocking) and it's security settings (eg, network name, password and security type etc). Once you are sure of it's settings, on the iPod go to Settings, then Wifi. In there turn off then on wifi. Allow it to scan then if it comes up with your network, select it then type in the password when requested and tap Join. If it doesn't show you need to enter it manually. To do this tap on Other then type in the Network name. It should now request a password (if one is set) and you are then connected indicated by the wifi logo in the status bar.

For more info refer to your ipod touch manual pages 90-91.

All the best.

Wifi not working

Make sure that the firewall settings on the router are not blocking you. Make sure it allows all MAC addresses and find out what addresses it is using. If you need any more clarification of what all this means let me know. Also let me know the version of ipod touch and what router you are using (model numbers are good).

All the best

Mp3 won''t work

I've never heard of audio CD being block before from playback. Try this:

Reset your Ipod back to factory settings.

Drag and drop your songs from Itunes into your player. Do not use playlists.

Playback the songs from Itunes using the Ipod player as the file location. If playback is working, undock you Ipod from the computer and play again using the MP3 player.
