Pavtube Blu-Ray Ripper-enables you to convert Blu-ray subtitle and audio track

Pavtube Blu-Ray Ripper is an independent DVD and Blu-Ray ripper, which is capable of removing all sorts of DVD and Blu-ray protections, without the support of third party software, including CSS protections, BD+, AACS protections, even MKB Version >10 is supported as well.
Besides dealing with general DVDs in a perfect way, the greatest distinction between Pavtube Blu-Ray Ripper and other competitive products is that it is able to read out all subtitles and audio tracks in a Blu-ray disc, and allows users to select whatever subtitles or audio tracks to do conversion. Dolby TrueHD audio and DTS-HD Master Audio are both supported well, which will never let you miss *********** tongue in the movie.
Furthermore, it has a unique option called "Copy"> "Directly Copy", through which you can directly backup your DVD .vob files and Blu-ray .m2ts files to the hard disk of your PC, and still in the format of .vob and .m2ts without any quality loss. In addition, it can rip and convert your Blu-ray movies and general DVDs into other popular audio and video formats like AVI, ASF, MPEG, MP4, WMV, MKV, MOV, FLV, SWF, RM, 3GP, AAC, AC3, MP3, OGG, WAV, WMA, M4A, etc., so that you can playback them on your beloved portable devices like iPod, iPhone, Apple TV, Zune, Blackberry, PSP, Creative Zen, Xbox, Motorola Droid, etc.
Another difference between Pavtube Blu-Ray Ripper and other Blu-ray rippers lies in that it provides several editing options to users, like trim, crop, add special effect, add watermarks and so on, so that users can do simple editing on their original movies without using any other video editors.
Following is the detailed instruction of how to convert BD subtitle and audio track while ripping a Blu-ray movie.

Step 1: Click "DVD Rom", "DVD Folder" or "IFO/ISO" to load Blu-ray files
By the way, there are a number of .m2ts files imported, and usually, the one with the longest duration is the main movie.
Step 2: Select your needed subtitle to convert
Click on the pull down menu of "Subtitle", then all the subtitles in the BD movie will be listed out, including language and subtitle ID, you can select one according to your own needs.

Step 3: Select your needed audio track to convert
Click the drop-down list of "Audio", and then all the info about audio tracks are shown clearly, including language, audio codec(turehd and dts master audio are both supported as well), stream ID, and audio channel, you can choose whatever you like to do conversion.

Step 4: Select output format and set destination folder

Click the pull down list of "Format" to select your wanted output format, there are a wide range of options, here I choose "MPEG-TS HD Video (*.ts) as an example.
]
At the same time, you can click the folder icon at the opposite side of "Output" to specify where to locate the output files.
Step 5: Set advanced settings

Click "Settings" button, then you will be able to adjust audio and video parameters in the following interface, including codec, aspect ratio, bit rate, frame rate, sample rate, and audio channel.

Step 6: Click "Convert" button to start Blu-ray ripping.
The generated files, which include the subtitle and audio track you have selected before conversion, can be found out via clicking "Open" button with ease.

I downloaded ubuntu 10.4 and it was only a data disk and it is asking 4 a password and user name

What you downloaded should have been an ISO file. This is an exact image of a cdrom (or dvd). Burn this image to disk with your favorite cd-writer software. Boot to this image. Most distros are now imaged as "live" cd-rom's. Meaning, that once burned to cd, you can boot right to the operating system from cdrom without installation to the harddrive. This allows you to try the system out before making a commitment to install permanently. Keep in mind, a live cd runs well but very slow compared to a harddrive install. A live cd will often ask you to log in as a guest or as root. Look carefully at the login screen - the user names and passwords will be listed there.

I am a linux user. Personally (and I know this will tick many off) I consider ubuntu to be at the bottom of the pile. For ease of use, especially for linux newbies, I recommend PclinuxOs.

If you find this solution to be helpful, then please take a moment to rate this post. - Thanks.

Unable to Boot

I think you burn into CD\DVD is incorrect. Recopy any Software is OK using ISO, but to find out that your burn that into proper ISO also, It will not work. To burn is again is extracted from ISO back to Bootable Windows Vista DVD.
Here is a a tip, use another program like Nero to burn into image, the file is .NRG or .ISO...
Or for easy tip, try COPY DISC for assurance that it will run again as is.
Good luck!

Using Nero 9 trial, when burning dvd's some come out all blocky

It may be that the player or tv isn't capable of decoding the dvd properlly, I do this also like 5 this week. I can tell you what I know works, and I can give you the codecs that you may be missing, you are previewing it through nero correct? Let's try this first, go here and sign up for a fre account, it sounds like you will make good use of the resources available. www.hashhu.com. , here are all of the codecs, http://www.free-codecs.com/download/K_lite_codec_pack.htm ,
Download a program named convertX to dvd. It's on the site Hashhu, the codec pak, may enable you to get nero to function as you wish, but the convertX programs is so much easier, just put a disk in the dvdrw drive and drag the fie in, it will automatically convert it and burn it to a high quality disk. My wife hates to watch movies that I burn off the net, but even she can't tell the difference withh this, Good luck, and if you ever want to know anything about copying or burning, it will be on that website, Peace ,Gym
