This is a mechanically problem in your player .

You need to manually open to take out the dvd .

The rubber thread which should be connected to the motor inside the DVD player might have moved from its place.

You need to place the rubber thread to proper place.

Unplug unit power cable and plug it back.

Try pressing repeatedly the eject button while you turn on the unit, do this a couple of times.

This often happens when there is a disk stuck inside, or one of the tray gears is not well in place.

The firs solution consists in pressing repeatedly the eject button while you turn on the unit. You may need to do this several times before it works.

If this method did not work , it will be necessary removing the upper cover, and either removing manually the stuck disk, or examining the tray mechanism to fix the problem.

Locked DVD Tray

I'm pretty sure the force disk eject is the same across all Panasonic models - however I couldn't find anything specific for your model number. Still worth a shot, though.

With the unit in standby, press and hold the 'Stop' and 'Ch up' buttons together. It should power up and force the tray open. If this doesn't work, try changing up your timing by pressing and holding 'Stop' first, then a half-second later, press and hold 'Ch up' and keep them both held together. You can also try the opposite.

If none of these work, it will have to be taken apart to get the disc out. If you aren't comfortable trying, it will have to go to service.
