To turn it on hold the play button for aboot 6 seconds or until it comes on all the other buttons are self explanitory. to put music on it you have to connect it to the computer while it is on. then to torn it off hold the play button until it shuts off.(aboot 10 seconds) hope i helped-ed

1. Click combination of buttons on your keyboard Windows+R -> Type MSCONFIG -> OK -> Continue -> Go to Startup Tab in the System Configuration -> Uncheck "HP Quicktouch On Screen Display Item" -> Restart Your computer. It disables the on screen display of the volume control.

sounds like you need to take it in to have it looked at. no simple fix unless you are an appliance technician. hard to walk a beginner through. i suggest calling an stereo repair guy.

If might bcoz of the system, if ur system is very new, then MP6410 might not work while connect with ur PC. u can google its driver n try it again. The pic indicates its supported operating system.
The volume control for external speakers is controlled via the Conmtrol Panel under SOUND there is a whole raft of toggles under Advanced to cover volume, equal L & R line in Line out etc
Right click the volume control - select open - this will open a larger volume control showing the volumes for each type of sound. Make sure none of the sliders are muted or low.
