The phone may have the same extension as another phone in the system. Unplug it from the power and take out the battery for a minute. Then plug it back in. It should take a moment to find other phones on the system and assign itself an extension number.

You may also have a line reversed on that phone. Check to see if line 1 is line 1 on all of the phones. Then line 2, 3 & 4.

Another thing to check is the DSL filter. That phone may need a filter on the line to keep your DSL from interferring. If it has one replace it.

Hi,

Since you said line 3 was working for #2 company, i will suggest you put the line 3 back from where you removed it from. From the look of things the line might be the only line connected to be functioning. When ever you want to switch line since it is with intercom you will need to switch both side from where it is connected to where it is connected to, so that network connection can be achieved.

And on the other hand, the other line might not be working properly, that is why it was not connected or used.

Take care.

Changing the programming2.gif on a Partner system is done on either ext 10 or 11. At one of those ext's press the feature key and "00"
next press the left hand intercom twice
the display should say system programming
press the left hand intercom button
the display should say central telephone prog extension:
enter in the extension number of the persons phone you wish to rename
the display should say program extension xx
press the left hand intercom button
the display should say the extension number followed by the existing programmed name
enter in name of new person by pressing the number where the letter is then its order on the button so under the 2 button 1 would be A, 2 would be B, and 3 would be C ex. BILL = 22 - 43 - 53 - 53 use the mic/hfai button to erase entry.

either press the right hand intercom to go to the next extension or press feature 00 to exit

PLEASE, PLEASE try and help me...I can't tell you how much this would be appreciated. I have a Panasonic KTS4100 4 line phone (2 corded phones in our office, and one cordless). I have NO IDEA how to use...

Just in case you missed the manual:
http://www.centralcomms.co.nz/pdf/KX-T2375-brosh.pdf

There are 2 conditions you need to be aware of

1 No DSL on the line
2. Set the intercom extension of the second phone

By default, both have been assigned ext 11. The intercom uses the same frequencies as a DSL line to transmit, so that could be the noise you are hearing.

Page 23 tells you how to set the intercom extension, and the DSL warning is almost at the bottom of every page from 18-22.

Phone ringing after power failure

I believe you have to reset the intercom system, meaning you need to reassign one or all of the phone's intercom numbers. To assign intercom # ( found on page 10 of the manual which you can download online)

1 Do NOT lift handset
2 Press the following 3 buttons (in order) PROGRAM, STAR, and then POUND
3 Enter two digits (the number you want the phone to be)
4 Press the INTERCOM button and you will hear a tone - then youre all done.

2-9450c telephone will not setup

Each telephone must be connected to line 1 and line 2 for
proper operation. The remaining lines 3 and 4 may — or may not —
be connected to each station as you desire. First plug in the battery, then the phone lines (1 & 2 are mandatory), and third the power cord. If your intercome LED is blinking red and green, then press: STORE IN, followed by "INTERCOM" followed by a free intercom# (i.e., any of the memory buttons 1 through 16 not already assigned to another telephone set. Then wait for the phone to go through its initiation sequence during which it searches each of the four possible lines. After that concludes, you should get dial tone on your active lines. :-) Marco
