Question about Whirlpool LSR9434PT Top Load Washer

Washing Machine won't empty water during the cycle

When the cycle is done, water is still fully in the washing machine. It will drain, however, when I manually turn the dial to the empty spot. The washer is 14 1/2 years old. do I need to shop for a new one or can this be repaired? thanks

Does the timer advance by itself? if not the problem is your timer not advancing through the cycles. if timer does advance then being 14 1/2 years old it could be the motor. start the washer and mark the beggining where the timer starts. whatch it to see if it moves if not then you need to replace your timer

for the fully automatic washing machine mostly have drain pump, please check the filter of your drain pump, how? remove the cup of your drain pump like a ordinary cup, screw it clock wise or counter clock wise.
Remove drain pump filter and clean it, some hair pins, cotton buds or coins or any small item that coz of clog up.
if your washing machine dont have drain pump ,but fully automatic check the drain motor if running or not? how? open the back cover for top loader washing machine only, select spin cycle and press start to see the drain motor running? the drain motor is like a small box with small wire to pull the lever of the drain to remove water inside, if the motor running or pull the lever of the water pipe but water still inside the washing machine, remove the drain cup or cover and clean it or check if have coin or cloth inside that coz of clog or water stuck,
if the drain pump or drain motor is weak this is will cause and long time draining or totally not running the drain pump or drain motor and its cause of totally stop the cycle of washing machine in rinse time or spin time, because all fully automatic washing machine, after washing cycle the drain pump or drain motor must be on, to remove water before start the next cycle. rinse or spin cycle.

Machine stopped in mid cycle with the drain/unlocking light on. No error codes. Machine goes directly to the drain/unlocking position after start. Will not fill, spin, operate. Any ideas?

After washing it makes loud noise & won't spin or drain

You shoul inspekt water outlet on the bottom of the drum. There is mabye something inthere.

Wont spin

Probably down to the water not emptying from the machine in the empty cycle and the machine won't spin because there's still water in the drum. If this is the case, the root of the problem is almost certainly a blocked filter, restricting the draining of the water and not allowing it all to pump out in time during the empty cycle. You probably need to find and clean your filter.

Washing not being spun properly or machine emptying fully
