I need to silence the notifications from my apps especially the vibrate part will not stop even when vibrate is off.

Just turn the ring and notification volume all the way down and go into settings -->sounds and uncheck the vibrate check box.

No ring for in coming call or text

You might want to restore the whole iphone or ,try these suggestions first: go to settings, then sound, then check to see if ALL sounds are set to on. If yes then press your volume button up and check to see if your sound is all the way up. If yes the last thing you want to do is check to see if your vibrate switch (on the side of the phone above the volume rocker) is set to vibrate. If you see the orange on the switch it is set to vibrate and will make no noise.

Will only vibrate when rec calls/txt. woke make any noise

this might be because you have activated the vibration profile (silent), so go to the profile setting and change it to normal (general), moreover make sure that your speakers are working fine..

No ring, only vibrate

if the ringtones ring from settings or the songs play then it will be surely the settings problem please select ring and vibrate instead of vibrate only and if it doesn't works then go to a near by repair shop and ask them to check and change the buzzer
