How old is the mouse? the base could be dirty, but is it worth the aggravation when new ones are so cheap? a new one would cost about $10-15 at most walmarts, so not just get a new one. mice are not worth fixing anymore.

How can I enter a soft (2 sec.) pause in a contact number on A766

1) From the Home screen, go to Start > Contacts

2) Select the desired phone number

3) Press the Menu soft key and select Edit.

4) Use the Left or Right navigation key to place the cursor at the place where the pause needs to be added.

5) Press the Menu soft key and select Insert Pause to add a two-second pause. The letter ‘p‘ will appear where the pause has been set.

6) Use the keypad to enter any additional numbers if desired.

Tip: You can create pauses longer than two seconds by entering multiple pauses.

Scroll works where the page supports it. Although most programs or browsers support this feature some older programs may not, eg. DOS screen in XP. No need to change your mouse.

My g5 mouse is always loosing his power , it goes off for like 10 sec.. and then comes back.. it keep doin it all the time ... i tried reinstall drivers... rebooting a million times.. and nothing...

Hi mondon,

it doesn't sound like a mouse or mouse driver problem it sounds like its a problem with the connection. If memory serves me the G5 is a usb mouse. Any usb mouse gets its power from the usb port and sometimes these fail or begin to fail and cause the problems you described. What i would do is first try another usb port on my PC and see if that fixes it.

If it does then your welcome if it doesn't please come back and mention it and we will take more steps.

Mikomi wireless keyboard

Mikomi doesn't have its own drivers. You can try using Logitech Setpoint (any version works)

Download the one that most resembles your mouse. You can see the various mice from the drop down menu or choose the one that you see in this link..

Tascam midi and audio conflict error

First try turning off the onboard audio device using the BIOS interface. Try pressing f4, f2 or delete key rapidly at the flash screen beginning when you first turn on the computer. Look around in the bios (usually in "integrated periperals" area) and disable any onboard audio options that you see.
-In windows XP you can go to Control panel - Sound Devices and change the "map through" feature, select your default device, and run a hardware test simulation with a microphone for each device. Nice setup btw.
