Question about ASUS CROSSHAIR Motherboard
The only solution to this is to flash bios with the latest version, i had this problem twice, when i upgraded processors. if you havent got a lower spec processor, try taking it back to where you bought it and ask them to do it

HAVE YOU CHECKED TO SEE IF MOTHERBOARD SUPPORTS THAT EXACT CPU.OR YOU MAY NEED TO CHANGE A SETTING(S) IN THE BIOS.TRY NOT USING AUTO DETECT FOR CPU MANUALLY ENTER INFO.RICHARDM69
