Receiving Messages We currently support receiving MMS picture messages with all carriers in ... TextNow number, you can alternatively have your contact send the MMS picture message to your texting address ([email protected]).
Are you sending to someone who would have you in their contact list. If not, then likely the phone has no way to know it is you texting. Typically texts are sent as phone number and the receiving phone checks it's contact list to see if it matches anyone and then substitutes the name for the number automatically.
Here's what you do. on your Iphone, go to settings then go to imessages and turn off imessages. after turning it off, put your sim back to your samsung. You will now get your messages. Hope it helps.
