Question about Video Game Consoles & Games
Basically, a few weeks ago my computer needed to be completely reformatted. now, however, henever i try to start a game i get a message saying 3D hardware is not installed on my system. i do not know how to locate the hardware and install it! any help would be appreciated!!
If you know what kind of video card you have, I'd suggest getting updated drivers. If you have an Nvidia card, www.nvidia.com, ATI, ati.amd.com.
You can also do start menu->run and enter 'dxdiag' without the quotes and that should tell you what you need to know about your card to find out the right information. Let me know if you have a question.

click here to Talk to a Technician (only for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.
